About Me
Sarah Annalise Martin(she/her) is a 21 year old emerging artist born and raised in Naarm/Melbourne. Sarah has an interest in portrait photography and videography and shoots predominantly on film or old digital cameras. Sarah has always had a passion for photographing her peers, particularly women and has a love of fashion and editorial style shooting. As a queer feminist, Sarah wants to portray equality, respect, empowerment and representation of all groups throughout her artistry. Sarah has studied at the Royal Institute of Technology from 2019-present as well as studying photography all throughout her high school years. Sarah is set to graduate at the end of 2021.
Sarah acknowledges the people of the Boonwurrung and Woiwurrung language groups of the Eastern Kulin Nations as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which she works and learns. She respects Elders, past, present and emerging, and their continuing connection to land and water. Sarah acknowledges the sovereignty was never ceded, and rejects and condemns the abominable acts of settlers on stolen land.
